Two more weeks!

I will be home in 12 days.
What do I need to do before I get home in 12 days?
1 doctors appointment
2 study groups
1 video presentation
2 literacy state exams
4 finals
1 paper
6 quizzes
2 visiting teaching times
1 nursery lesson
1 formal math lesson plan

Not to mention the normal homework on top of that.

It's okay, I get to fly home. At least I'm not like Mary with Joseph - I am glad I don't have to ride a donkey home and then stay in a stable.. I am grateful!

Just need to get through this!

Baby update

Well we went to the doctor today. I got on the scale and realized that I gained more than I should this month.. I was hopeful that it was just me getting fat and not him. Sadly, no.. it's my fat little baby.

At 20 weeks baby boy was in the 51st percentile for weight at almost 26 weeks he is in the 73rd.
Yes, that is a big jump.
His silly mommy and her diseases are affecting his growth. Apparently diabetics have big babies.. So Mommy needs to work on her blood sugars, sorry babe.
He's not huge. I mean there are still 27 percent of babies at his age that are bigger, but that also means that he is bigger than 73 % of babies at his age.

It's okay, I like big babies!!

His heart and head are growing just fine though, which is comforting. He's good a good heart and a big brain, just like his Daddy!

Well that's pretty much it. Still working on the name... We have S- Earl Morgan. Just need the S name.

Going home in 18 days?! Awesome. Can't wait to see the fam!

So you can't really see it clearly, but this was about 6 weeks ago. So he's grown a lot.

P.S. The Ultrasound tech told us that he is already really active, great! She said "Well you guys are going to have fun running after him!"

Oh, boy.

Little baby boy!

We are SO excited about baby boy!  Especially Stuart, the nurse kept making fun of him because he didn't stop smiling the WHOLE appointment. IT'S A BOY!

So our wonderful friend, Lacey Mae, took a gender reveal photo shoot for our little guy!

Well let's see - I am about 21 weeks right now and I thought that was WELL within the "Feel good" trimester. False. Little man, you are making me crazy :) I know you mean well.
Let's see - how's life?
I eat 24/7. I wake up hungry!
Well, that's a lie. I don't sleep. Although I am tired.
I have a little baby bump and if I lay on my stomach (which I don't because I don't want to squish him) then I can feel his heart beat. Amazing.
He likes to push around my insides. My internal organs are moving and stretching (so is my tummy!)
Well, that's a little painful.

However, all of that pain goes out the window when we go to the doctor and I hear his heart beat and see him moving around on the screen!

We love you, little man!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

So today is my Mama's birthday. I know people always think that their mom is the best, but mine really is. She is a teacher, a nurse, caretaker, helper, and so much more. She is so considerate and runs herself ragged trying to help others.

She has taught me so much about love, family, and the gospel. She and Daddy-o have been married for 28 years!

The point is - is that my mom rocks. I don't know what I would do without you! Can't wait to see you and I hope that you have an amazing day. You deserve the bestttt! Thanks for all the adventures you take us on and I can't wait for all the adventures in the future!

I think I can speak on behalf of the family - WE ALL LOVE YOU!

Families are Forever!!

All the happenings

So it's been a while (I am still trying to get used to this whole blogging thing..)

Stuart and I had our first anniversary! On August 20, we officially made it a year. Holy smokes has time flied. It seems like we are still newlyweds, which in a way we still are. Newlyweds having a baby of our own.
Speaking of which, our little one is 12 weeks now. About 2 or 3 inches long and the size of a lime. So anyway, we went to Firebirds in Raleigh for our anniversary and dang that place is good. They have some heavenly food. We got to spend some time with Stuart's family the next day.

After that it was my Papa's birthday. The big 5-2. He is the best Dad in the world and i'm glad we were here to help him celebrate. We had breakfast together that morning before work (and Crystan's first day of school).. and then dinner that night with Brenton and the rest of us! It was a blast and I am so grateful to have a wonderful example of a father!

Never too old to dance on his feet...

Stuart and I are headed back to the Rex in less than a week. We are going to take I-40 all the way to Albuquerque to see Kakamoe!!!!!!!

Mmmm!! Cake.

Can't wait to see her, although it won't be for a long time.. then headed to the Grand Canyon and up to Idaho.
Welp, that's all for now.

Baby Time

So as most people now know Stuart and I are having a baby! Right now I am at ten weeks and the baby is the size of a grape. I am due sometime between March 10-13. We haven't been to the doctor because we are waiting to go until we get back to Rexburg in a couple of weeks.

Yes, I graduate on April 7. Yes, I am having a baby a month before. Yes, I am going to do this! Still haven't figured out the details of everything, but we have time. Hmm like where are we going to live that last month (right now we live in a basement apartment.. no babies!) It's okay, everything will work out.

Stuart wants a boy, I think pretty bad. I would really be okay with either. I just hope it's healthy. Kakmoe and I have been calling it Otto because I feel bad for calling it an it and writing it/him/her takes forever! Stuart has just started saying "Oh when HE gets here..." So we have started using pronouns. It's real, people! Well the baby is, not the fact that it's a boy. That's still unknown.

We probably won't know the sex for another couple of months. I haven't been too sick, which I am so very grateful for. I am still working for another couple of weeks and then we are making our trek west.

Uh, that's basically it! I can't wait to see all my friends back from their missions at school! Whoever is in Rexburg this winter can help me with the babe :)

Love you guys!

Top 5

These are the top 5 shows in my life. I waste a lot of my time watching these shows. It's totally worth it.

Grey's Anatomy  - Let me tell you, I learn so much from this show!!! It's mainly the drama I suppose. Dad and Stuart keep telling me that the medical part of the show isn't always right..? Hmm that's something to ponder.

Psych - This show is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I have tried to explain it to other people but unless you have seen it you just don't get it. Hilarious. Love Shawn and Gus. Shawn Spenstarr and TT Showbiz, extra T for extra talent.

Glee - It's funny, it's dramatic, and it has awesome music. What more do I need? Basically every song that comes on I say "Hey! Glee did a cover of this." I guess that might get a little old to those around me?

How I Met Your Mother - So funny. Almost as good as psych. Neil Patrick Harris is a fantastic actor.

One Tree Hill - Okay, this show I loved in the beginning and now it has kind of gone down hill. Sadly, I am committed. I can't not watch. It's still okay, it just has special meaning. Me, Emma, and Kakamoe used to watch this show ALL the time.. Good times on the waterfront. Not to mention that it's set and filmed in NORTH CAROLINA. Have to represent.

Okay, so what was the point? I have no idea. I mean this blog is mainly just a stress reliever and I am watching Grey's right now and thought about my other favorites. So the point was to entertain myself. Maybe the two other people that read this weren't too bored!

Well here it goes..

So I am starting this blog thing again. Hopefully it will go better than the last time, when I posted like once every year!

I am giving a talk today in church (actually in 1 hour and 55 minutes). I am not sure how I feel about big girl talks - mainly because he wants me to speak for like 15 minutes. Now I can talk for 15 minutes, don't get me wrong. However, will it sound spiritual or even somewhat intelligent? Probably not. I have developed the attitude to give it all I've got. So here goes nothin'!!!

In other news, Stuart and I are in North Carolina (well we have been for about 4 months now) and will be headed back to good ol' BYU-Idaho in about a month. We are both graduating in April and then moving back to NC for good (fingers crossed!!!) Yes that means that we will have trekked across the country a total of 5 times - around 14,000 miles. Glad we like each other!

Camber and family just left NC and we all miss them terribly! The house is so quiet and let's face it - the cute factor in the house went way down. (Although I think Stuart is cute :]..)

Stuart is managing a pool for the city of Raleigh and I am back at TPC Wakefield Plantation for another summer. I never see Stuart because he works so much, but he likes it so that's good. I love my job (although I can't tell that to the people I work with.. don't want them to get a big head :] ) And of course we love spending time with family and friends.

Okay, maybe this was a short post. I have to take baby steps!
